Romain Grosjean has revealed both his hands are no longer in bandages just six weeks after surviving a horrific fireball crash at the Bahrain Grand Prix.

Grosjean’s Haas exploded into flames after coming off the track just three corners into the race on November 29, with his vehicle splitting into two after colliding with the steel barrier.

It was one of the worst Formula 1 crashes in recent history, but thankfully Grosjean walked away from the flaming wreckage of his Haas.

It led to a premature retirement for Grosjean from the sport, as he missed the final two races of the season in a bid to avoid permanently damaging his hands.

Grosjean, who was already due to retire from the sport at the end of the season, revealed on social media over the weekend that he had gone a whole day without the dressing on his hands.

And the 34-year-old provided more good news for fans on Tuesday regarding his current condition.

Accompanied by his dog, Grosjean posted a photo on Twitter revealing the true extent of the burns and said: “Dressing fully off and Petrus happy!!!
